Annually, in the spring, the Society sponsors a free luncheon event honoring the Legends of Broadcast. These individuals have distinguished themselves in the field of broadcast journalism on the radio and/or television in the local market or nationally.
The attendees start with fellowship with their fellow broadcasters and the other attendees. The Society provides lunch. Lunch is followed by an informal, lighthearted discussion of the broadcast business, lead by one of their own.
